So one morning while there, I met up with Tina…a gorgeous girl from Russia who is here in the states going to school. Between her and the beautiful early morning light, I was in photographer’s heaven. Complete heaven!

We met before sunrise…and since my sweet husband wanted to come with me…this meant he had to get up with me at 5am. On our vacation. Yes, he loves me. A lot.

These pictures make me want to go back and lay on the beach (minus the horrible sunburn I got) and watch the sunrise again. I miss it. I miss the ocean and the birds and the little cute crabs that run around the sand. To all of you who get to see this every morning, or visit the ocean whenever you feel like it, you don’t know how good you have it! I think I was meant to live on the coast.

So now, 3 years later…here we are.

She will always be my baby girl. Even though 3 – to me – seems more like a child now then a baby…she is still my youngest and my little goober butt. (great nick-name, huh?!)

I will do a birthday session with her soon, but for now, just one…

WHAT I AM LOOKING FOR

• Not just any couple. A couple who is comfortable in their own skin, and with each other. A couple who likes to have FUN, who isn’t shy, likes to play around and act goofy and try new things. You need to be comfortable in front of the camera, and in front of me.

• You can me married, engaged, whatever. I don’t care about that part. There WILL be an “interview” process….really more like a super short questionnaire about yourself that I give you, and you must submit a  picture of you two together, being silly, goofy, flirty….basically something more then just a plain, old boring picture. We all have those. I want something different. There has to be a challenge somewhere!

• I will pick TWO couples based on your picture, the questionnaire, and what I am specifically needing. (bribes are welcome, also. I like anything chocolate)

• You must also be able to take clothing advice and bring the items I request (or things similar….no need to go out and buy new clothes, unless you want to, which is GREAT, but I do have certain “looks” I am going for)

DETAILS ABOUT THE SESSION:

• The session will be FREE and you will receive your top 4 favorite images on a disk for FREE.  ($475 value) Anything beyond that will be at my normal prices. There is no obligation to purchase anything.

• The session will be at a location that I pick. This could be anywhere from a farm, to a field, to downtown, to a cave. I’m not sure yet. It depends on you and what location will fit you the best, and what I can find that time of year.

• The session will be scheduled for sometime in October. When its cool. I don’t like sweat, and while I am thrilled to go out and sweat for hours for clients, I would rather avoid it this time. You will enjoy it a lot more if you aren’t wiping sweat from your eyes and dying of heat stroke too. I promise.

• You will be required to sign a model release, so I may use your images on my website/blog/marketing material.

So this wimpy photographer had a lot of fun (I really did!) on a farm for my last session with a very sweet senior, Abbi. Not only did I get to shoot her with her beautiful horse, but I also had my finger sucked on by their adorable baby goat, petted a 700+ lb pig on the nose, and  was greeted by a cow next to their front porch. Somewhere inside of me, a small part of my kinda wished we had land and animals. Complete with baby goats and giant pigs.

They are very excited to actually have sidewalk to ride their bikes on! Can’t you tell by my daughters evil grin? lol

I was there when he was born…

did his newborn shots… (yes, different watermark)

and now he is ONE. And my dear friend is expecting her 2nd in November! So he is not only turning one, but going to be a big brother!!!

This also means that I am taking weddings again! I took a little time off while moving and now that we are settled, I am eager to get the weddings going again! In the mean time I did second shoot a couple with Robbie Gleason from Robbie G Photography!

And yes…they broke out THILLER!!! Love it!!!

This weekend I met baby Asher….a sweet, HANDSOME little 11 month old! He is another one of my baby portfolio building clients, and MAN, I am going to have a hard time decided which ones to put on the main website! He didnt mind the heat so much…we found some cool shade and with a tiny bit of a breeze it was actually, almost bearable outside.

Who wouldn’t totally fall in love with this face?

I love shots like this. It was really kind of an accident shot…but it melts my heart.

My son already is attached to her….he LOVES Remi!
